These puff pastry apple turnovers are not only vegan, but the perfect quick and easy dessert to fulfill your sweet cravings.

- 2 rolls Store-Bought Puff Pastry
- 2 cups Apple Pie Filling (recipe here)
- 1 tbs Powdered Sugar (optional)
Vegan Egg Wash (optional, but recommended)
- 2 tbsp vegan butter (melted)
- 1 tbsp reserved apple pie filling syrup
Instructions
- Using a floured or parchment-covered surface, roll out and cut each puff pastry roll into 4 equal squares.
- Add about a ¼ cup of apple pie filling to each pastry square and, picturing the pastry in a diamond shape, fold one corner over to the other forming a triangle.
- Using a fork, firmly press down about ¼-inch of the open edges to seal the pastry. Repeat until all of the pastries are sealed.
- For the egg wash, using a small bowl, mix together the melted butter and reserved syrup from the apple pie filling.
- Arrange the pastries about 1 inch apart on a large parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
- Brush with the vegan egg wash and bake according to the puff pastry package instructions.
- Allow the pastries to cool before dusting with powdered sugar and serving.
