Tofu Scramble

Ingredients

  • 1 Block of Firm Tofu
  • 1/2 Yellow Onion
  • 1/2 Red Bell Pepper
  • 1/2 Yellow Bell Pepper
  • 1/2 Orange Bell Pepper
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 2 tbsp Oil or Vegan Butter
  • 2 tbsp Turmeric
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. Chop the onions and peppers.
  2. Heat the oil in a large skillet on medium heat.
  3. Add the chopped onions and peppers.
  4. Crumble the tofu into the skillet. Crumbles should be no bigger than 1 inch chunks.
  5. Add the turmeric, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and water.
  6. Stir until the spices are evenly distributed and the tofu is completely yellow.
  7. Simmer, stirring occasionally, until all of the water has evaporated. The tofu should be lightly browned and no longer wet.
